Leading RFID Company Expands to Meet Customer Needs and Growing Market Demands

WALTHAM, Mass., September 2, 2004 – OATSystems, Inc., the recognized RFID Framework leader, has announced the opening of its European Headquarters, based in the United Kingdom, in response to increasing customer demands in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The office is dedicated to providing solutions for companies at all stages of adoption, from a single-site deployment to an enterprise-wide RFID framework, for tracking goods movement across the extended supply chain.

As an industry pioneer, OAT has been deploying radio-frequency identification (RFID) software solutions in Europe since 2002. OAT’s London office, which opened July 1, 2004, is headed by Managing Director Cyrus Gilbert-Rolfe, a software industry veteran of fifteen years who has held senior management positions at Perot Systems, Netscape, Sun Microsystems, Bowstreet, SilverStream and Novell.
